Spinelli Kilcollin was founded in 2010 by partners Yves Spinelli and Dwyer Kilcollin out of their garage on the east side of Los Angeles. The brand launched with an innovative series of interconnected Galaxy rings, which are designed to be stacked or worn across several fingers, and which are now synonymous with the Spinelli Kilcollin aesthetic. Since then, the brand has expanded exponentially, moving to a headquarters in downtown Los Angeles, and venturing into such additional products/mediums as eyewear, furniture, and a biannual magazine, while continuing to evolve their full range of conceptual fine jewelry.

Q: How was Spinelli Kilcollin founded? /How was the first ‘Galaxy ring” born?
A: Spinelli Kilcollin was founded shortly after Yves and Dwyer met. After envisioning an unconventional design for himself, Yves created the first linked ring in sterling silver, designed to be worn across several fingers. He later created a ring for Dwyer which soon garnered interest from friends and strangers alike, leading the couple to later collaborate and launch Spinelli Kilcollin.
This initial concept sparked interest and laid the foundation for their brand. Together they sought out to create alternative jewelry that broke away from industry norms, and a collection of linked rings that have come to distinctively represent Spinelli Kilcollin was born.
